Incredible  Apple Pumpkin Strudel Pie

 

Makes two pies.  

Temp 425*

 

 

Pumpkin mixture

2 large c or 4 small or 6c Pumpkin

1c Cream or Milk

8 Eggs

3c Brown Sugar

2tsp Cinnamon

1tsp Nutmeg

1tsp Cloves

 

~Mix together all above in bowl

 

Apple Mixture 

 

6 pealed sliced Apples

1tbsp Cinnamon

1c Brown sugar

 

 ~Mix and Set aside

 

Strudel Topping

 

1 ½ c flour

¾ c Brown Sugar

1c Butter

 

~Cut together and set aside

 

~ layer pumpkin and apple mixtures evenly between the two shells, about two layers     of each pumpkin than apple per pie

~ Bake @ 425* for 15-20 min than 350* for 30- 35

~ Remove from oven and sprinkle studle topping evenly over both pies

~Return to oven for 15-20 min longer or until lightly browned

Can be served Hot Or Cold

 

My Easy Pie Crust

2 c Flour

1tsp Salt

¾ c Lard or Butter

4-5 tbsp cold water

~Cut together and form crust
