Making Bread can be one of
the simplest things in the Word to make if you can understand a few basic
components. The first is that your basic ingredience have to stay somewhat the
same. For a 4-loaf recipe, you need five cups of liquid to 2 tbsp of yeast
the rest you can play with up and down until you add all the yummy things your family
likes so here is my own personal recipe after 16 yrs of marriage
IN YOU BOWL PLACE ALL AT ONCE
41/4 C WATER –
2 TBSP YEAST ANY KIND –
3 TBSP MOLASSES –
1/3 C HONEY OR SUGAR
PREFERENCE –
2 EGGS –
2 TSP SALT –
1/4 C OLIVE OIL OR BACON LARD
–
2/3 C MILK
1 1/2 TBSP LEMON JUICE –
STIR –
ADD-
1 C OATS –
1/2 C CREAM OF WHEAT GRANULES –
5 C FLOUR –
WHIP FOR 5 MIN TO ACTIVATE THE GLUTEN
THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT OF 100
STROKES –
ADD
5 C FLOUR –
WILL STILL BE STICKY BUT MANAGEABLE WITH OILED
HANDS LET RISE 1 HR THEN PAN RISE AND BAKE .THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS BREAD IS
EVEN IF YOU USE WHITE FLOUR IT IS STILL A WHOLE GRAIN BREAD BUT STILL LOOKS
WHITE !
