Soda Crackers

2 tsp yeast

2/3 cups cold water

1 ½ c flour

½ tsp Salt

 ½ tsp Soda

2 tbsp melted butter

Combine to make dough

Refrigerate for one hour

Roll out and fold repeat four times this makes

 The layers in the crackers 

Roll out thin but not too thin lay rectangular dough on cookie sheet prick into squares

Then prick individual crackers

Sprinkle with salt

Bake @ 425* until golden

Break gently or cut with sizzlers if they are too soft allow to sit in a slightly unsealed crock and they will be perfect these keep really well  

This is a really good recipe. My husband who is really keen on crackers dislikes store bought now even if mine aren’t quite as pretty
