Yummies and Nummies for Baby Tummies

Time for food can be a fun and exciting time their first tastes too their first big baby doody it is a fun time. In ever home this time varies for ever baby as some are awaked earlier to the reality of, “what are you putting in your mouth” and “were is mine”, and “I didn’t come from mommy”

Our little ones seem to find this wonderful new world early and yet we must be certain not to let them rush their own abilities.

Our little one is 6 months old right now we are enjoying watching her pleasures and dislikes as she explores the worlds of new foods. Her first tastes were mashed potatoes and when I new she could navigate her tongue with accuracy I new we could start making regular dinner dates. We stared once a day minnie meals. These little nips are tiny helpings given AFTER a full nursing, or when she naturally spits it out to socialize with mommy. It starts as a few spoon full to a teaspoon then a tablespoon than to my favorite part frozen dinner stage.

NUMMY FROZEN DINNERSIcecube dinners is an easy way to have a large variety of homemade meals ready at a moments notice  for instance when I make dinner I pull a few veggies aside ,blend them and place them in ice cube trays than bag them for later use that month. When a meal's needed, I plop out a cube or two or three place them in a little dip dish. To heat I set them on the back burner were the heat comes up from the oven or place the corning wear dip dish in a dish of boiled water (never heat in a microwave as this destroys all that is good and will make for an ill baby).

Our little Blessed –Grace loves a blend of turnips, beets, and carrots, she also enjoys our homemade cereals as well cornmeal mush, cream of wheat, oat bran, oatmeal. To cool or thin homemade baby food use a little breast milk or fresh cream I personally am very apposed to babies and children being given skimmed dairy products whole or raw is my passion.

 YUMMY FINGER FOODS

Blessed like other babies and children love when they can finally “Do it them selves” being able to find little morsels and struggle to get them to there mouths can be messy for mommy but a incredible learning time for baby . Bits of egg, homemade breads, softened in a little cream, rice fruits, and veggies. (Slap choppers help at this stage)

Have fun mommy, remember always nurse baby first, so she truly fills and does not just tier out, or get frustrated with slow mommy.
