Abiding
So
much of; growing in faith is about learning to handle our disappointments when
God does not show up in a situation as we expect He should. It is at these
crucial times the voice of the enemy comes to deceive us, and tempt us not to
put our ...hope in the Lord for
any thing any more, “After all why allow yourself to be disappointed again”?
Through
it all God's voice continues to whisper,
“You
can trust me completely to work my perfect plan in the best way possible,
Realize that I am incomprehensible to you and it is your job to rest in My
love. I do love you more than you can fathom and I am with you always".
Listen carefully
to the right voice! My prayer has been in the last few months
"Give
me an undivided heart;
I want to be
radically laid down at the feet of Jesus”.
That
takes ultimate trust in the ONE whom I cannot see and His character. I am
choosing to trust that when I pray...that He is working, and I ask Him to align
my requests with His perfect will. He says that when we abide we can ask
whatever we will and He will give it. John15:7. I want to learn what that
means, So that ultimately, whatever I ask for is an echo of the heart of God,
and He will grant it because the desire stemmed from Him
