Anything at All?

There have been a number of times lately through quiet times where Christ has prompted me to ask Him. "LORD is there anything keeping me back from my relationship with YOU?" You can ask God questions you know. I believe this type can be some of His favorite to answer for us. He wants a deep intimate relationship with you. Like John the beloved, where you can come, lay your head on His breast and ask the questions in your heart and expect an answer ( John 13:21). I so desire to nurture this kind of friend of God/ beloved of God type of relationship with Him. I have heard some say that this type of intimacy with God is not respectful but I would counter that I can be intimate with my husband while being respectful. Are we not called to the high and holy calling of being the bride of Christ? Unfathomable I know, but God is all about relationship. His Holiness does tend to burn us into His likeness and that is the painful and beautiful part. The pain is always worth the weight of glory as we are transformed from glory into glory (2Cor 3:18). God wants us to enter with unveiled faces into His presence. We often wear shackles, unseen in the physical that God wants to reveal in the Spiritual. God open our eyes so we can walk and talk with you and nothing hinders us. Reveal if there is anything you want to release us from. Help us to come to the foot of the cross and release those things, anything to You so You Holy Spirit have free reign to do as You please. Anything at all Lord. We want to burn for you.
