Arise and call her blessed

 This morning I got up, fixed my husband's lunch and kissed him goodbye as he headed to work, had my shower. Next, I took out the garbage for garbage day, switched the laundry, got the kids tidying up from the previous day's mess, and began to mentally prepare for another day of home schooling. Although I'd had a short prayer time and the clock was ticking onward with a giant to do list still screaming my name, the soft whisper of the LORD resonated louder in my heart." Come away, spend time with ME, before the chance for now is gone and you walk a day, not abiding in my strength, but walking in the flesh. Will you put everything aside, close your door, and spend some time on your face with ME?

Herein lies victory, fruitfulness and the joy of the Lord. Sweet surrender brings beautiful victory. As I emerge from those quiet times, calmed and changed, my face reflecting joy or sweet repentance, my kids( ages 7, 8 &10) are drawn to spend time with Jesus themselves I don't have to nag them or tell them they want to grasp what could be so all consuming and have such a powerful pull on their mom . Herein lies effective discipleship. I could spend hours homes schooling "Bible" lessons from this empty vessel and not accomplish what those few minutes obediently responding and drinking in God's presence had in drawing my children closer to God. Have you heard His voice whisper "Come away my child? Drink of ME and find refreshing in MY presence?"

The secret of incredible beauty                                         In scripture, it speaks of the beauty treatments of Ester before she became queen of the yearlong purification and treatments she was given the prescribed twelve months of beauty treatments—six months with oil of myrrh, followed by six months with special perfumes and ointments. Wouldn’t you just love spending a year at a spa? Ooh, ya I would! I just love to soak in sweet scented oils and be beautiful for my husband it not only makes me feel good to feel pretty but also makes me feel good to know that I am pleasing to him. However, there is a beauty treatment far more intense with far greater results mentioned in scripture. Did you know accepting the authority of your husband honoring him can make you beautiful? The ugliest women in the world, if you looked at their life you would find hatred and bitterness. Scripture says Proverbs 14:30 Amplified Bible A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones. So what douse it says causes beauty then? 1 Peter 3:1-5 (NLT) Wives 3 In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over ² by observing your pure and reverent lives.³ don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. ⁴ You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. ⁵ This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.

The most beautiful women I have ever seen have an incredible radiance that glows off their faces, radiates from their eyes. Even the very old if you study the faces of Christian women those that love the lord deeply and have no bitterness and unforgiveness will be incredibly attractive and those with bitterness and unforgivness will be sickly withered and have dark eyes both within and without. You can literally see Christ in them they radiate him that is what you see. We need to readjust our beauty treatments ladies!

What are you bathing in?

 Is it rebellion, anger, bitterness dishonor to parent or your spouse? Are you washing your mouth with curses, to your husband and children anger vile speech?  Are you treating your eyes to adulterous scenes horror shows, lust? I hope not!                                                                                                                                                                       Instead, try this beauty treatment! For the body and soul, wash daily in early sunrise with the Word. Rinsing your mouth with a large amount of prayer and praise. Apply to your eyes things that develop inner beauty, and strength of Godly virtue. Anoint your hands with uplifting praise and gentleness, your feet with respect and faith, “You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God”. Ladies Grow in the Lord, be a radiant beacon of life and light, feed the soul and spirit so the beauty is not just topical that washes off before bed. Starting feeding yourself from within then the beauty will flow out of you from the inside and leaving a lasting visible beauty for the eye and the spirit Love Melody

 

The Cry in my heart is for woman to build a Godly heritage to grow and be nurtured at home until they are given away to their life partner. I see this need so strongly probably because this is the heritage  I was raised with . I was raised in a christian home with a mother who was intimate with her maker, spending many hours devowering the Word and committing it to deep memory. A father who spent many an evening writing out the scripture book by book . A grandmother who prayed and prayed .They were not perfect by any means human just as you and I in fact my mother was engaged at 16 and married write out of school .They were very young and in-experienced at being adult men and women, let alone be Godly parents .They both walked with God ,stumbled for sure at times, as we all do, but by the time I was born, they were  growing and obeying there teacher the Holy spirit . They did not have degrees on Godliness or perfect parenting but through life cercomstances they learned and loved together, they fought together, and they had 6 beautiful babies together .This is the heritage the Godly heritage I want for all christian families to be illuminating to the World ,loving parents with obedient children serving the Lord. Through the prayers and example of my parents, all my siblings walk with God . I understand that not all children have had this blessing of a Godly heritage but that does not stop you from changing the tide and becoming this for your future generations, No God desires for you to flourish and become all that he ever wanted for you .To re write the past with the future. My Hope and prayer is that the gifted women who commit to sharing in this site will nurture and feed the qualities lacking the missed nurturing and together build a future of godly Men and women ,by training women according to   Titus 2:3-5
