I just Love this time of year buying new school supplies, planning their achievement goals for the year then enjoying teaching them, and watching them feast on the knowledge. Moreover, seeing the fruits of my labors bring a yield of learning love into their fertile hearts. It is a passion, and you know what it all started in kindergarten for me, where my own fertile heart was plowed and planted for the future that God planned for me. I still love my first kindergarten teacher and strangely enough, I would say we are knit in spirit and a life long bond of friendship.
It was at this tender age that the love for learning and teaching children was en-grafted in me .She fascinated me with her creativity and love. It is this passion to teach that still calls me away from chores, calls me to take a few moments to till the little hearts God has gifted to my teaching. My favorite age of teaching is kindergarten to grade 2 I suppose that is why my kids always wanted to dive into school far before their due date as harmony is in grade 3 @7 and Josiah started recognizing words at 2 and is now in kindergarten at 3 and reading three letter words . My mother also nurtured my love for teaching before I ever started school as she had an under two daycare and loved teaching them incredible things like being able to verbalize and recognize composers like Mozart and Bach just by sound ,she fascinated me . So now, I teach weather we are grocery shopping walking through a park or butchering sheep it is a passion and I love it!
